Greetings from all of us
by Krissy Foreman
We wish you all a warm beginning of December! It is even almost the end of the year too, oh how time flies! We also have a few announcements we would like to make.
First, we are all so grateful for the Deaf community's donations and diverse efforts for the Save Thompson Hall Project. At this current moment, we have 40 people who have donated to the project! Some of the donations have come from as far away as the state of Washington who found us on Facebook. We are absolutely thrilled how wide this is starting to spread and would love for our dear readers to spread it further by word of hands!
Second, we would like to share with the readers the various ways the Deaf community can continue to help and support the Save Thompson Hall Project.
* One time donation
* Monthly pledges
* Go Fund Me
* Come to Save Thompson Hall Project meetings
* Come join the community during the various Thompson Hall monthly events
* Volunteer to help during the Thompson Hall monthly events
* Spread by word of hands our Save Thompson Hall Project on all social medias
Third, we would like to thank the Deaf owned Hiawatha Bank based in Hudson, Wisconsin, for letting us open an account with them where all our donations and pledges will be kept. They have been helpful and supportive of our project and so we felt we would like to give them recognition for their services.
If you would like to make a one-time donation, please send to:
MN Deaf Club Elevator/Renovation Project
1824 Marshall Avenue, Suite #1
St. Paul, MN. 55104
And lastly, we also offer our Save Thompson Hall Project GoFundMe page at the following website address: www.GoFundMe.com/Save-Thompson-Hall
Please note: All donations are tax deductible. And we would like to thank you ahead of time for any future donations you felt like giving in support of this project. We are absolutely thrilled to continue to move this project forward into 2019!
Feel free to come and attend our next public meeting for the Elevator/Renovation Project on Thursday, December 20th at 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the Thompson Hall Deaf Club. Hope to see you, dear reader, at the December 20th meeting and we all wish you a warm December. Stay safe!
